Dance Terrain
An Intergenerational Film‘Dance Terrain’ is a new inter-generational work that aims to unite disparate Newcastle communities through dance.
Directed by Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub, the work encompasses professional and non-professional dance performance, as well as multi-arts activation events.
This large-scale project focuses on stories of where ‘the land meets the sea’, bringing together performers across generations and experience. Young people, professional dancers & adult movers combine to create a cultural program of contemporary dance that invigorates and highlights Hunter identity.
Perched on ‘the edge of the ocean,’ this work celebrates our unique regional landscape through dance, film, and music, and activates the heart of our community.
