All the nonsense, all the love, all the relativities
In an ever evolving, ever shifting duet, ‘All the nonsense, all the love, all the relativities’, is a dance work which gives embodied expression to the negotiation that exists in the coming together of two people. The work considers the complexities of finding shared ways of relating in the context of our own layered histories and personal narratives.
Created by Alexandra Ford and Saskia Ellis as a first stage development, ‘All the nonsense, all the love, all the relativities’, engages dance and movement to personify the perpetual exchange of literal and emotional languages through their physiologies.

Saskia Ellis: Saskia is a queer, neurodiverse performance artist and choreographer, currently based on Gadigal Land. Their practice presently inquires of illimitable orthogonality and curvilinear time in poetic physiological encapsulations. Saskia pertains a multidisciplinary approach to accessibility and intersectionality through inquisitive emulations of language, movement, improvisation, installation, and theoretical embodiment.
Saskia’s most recent choreographic works include “flesh concealing scaffolds of dreams” in uNCOILEd eXposed 2022, and “Spoons” via The Flying Nun by BrandX, for Sydney World Pride. Saskia graduated Sydney Dance Company’s Pre Professional Year in 2021, and has since performed, collaborated, and choreographed works amongst Museum of Contemporary Art, Carriageworks, Riverside Theatres, IPAC, BrandX, ReadyMade, March Dance, MerrigongX, and in movement, film and tangibility.
